Number 8 HG Pair from the Callais Collection
 
Number 8 is one of the seven classic turquoise mines of Nevada. The history is told in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990.
 
These two cabochons weigh 6.6 carats and measure 2cm X 1cm and 1cm X 1cm. The price is $60 a carat or $396. They are not treated and are not backed. I have assigned a TG of 81 or HG. I purchased these stones from Sam Patania.
