Indian Mountains is considered one of the seven classic turquoise from Nevada. The story is found in Turquoise in America Part Two 1910-1990 and Part Three 1910-2020.
 
This cab weight 13.8 carats and measures 2cm X 1.5cm. It is not treated and is backed. The price is $80 a carat or $1104. I have assigned a TG of 92 or GG. Indian Mountain has not been mined for many years and is exceptionally rare at this grade. The stone comes from the NevadaGem Collection. White spot is camera flash.
