Godber Burnham is considered a classic Nevada turquoise. The story is found in Turquoise in America Part Two, 1910-1990. Dry Creek is the marketing name for a lighter look coming from the claim.
 
This large cabochon weighs 62.5 carat and measures 3.5cm X 3cm C 7mm. It is priced at $10 a carat or $625. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 76 or HMG making it among the highest grade of Dry Creek. I purchased this stone from the miners Bruce and Jerri Woods.White spot is camera flash.
