Bisbee is the favorite turquoise for many. The story of Bisbee is told in Turquoise in America Part Two 1910-1990. Donna Mead, wife of the late Bruce Mead, has called this turquoise the “best of the best natural Bisbee”.
 
This cabochon weighs 7.3 carats and measures 2cm X 0.75cm. It is not treated and backed It was cut by Bruce Mead who sold the stone to me. It is priced at $200 a carat or $1460. I have assigned a TG of 91 or GG Gem Grade. Bisbee of this grade is exceptionally rare and seldom found in the market.
