Candelaria is a classic turquoise mine of Nevada found on a silver mine in the Candelaria Hills. There is small production because it has only been high graded except for a brief concession given to Wayne Nelson in 1985. This cabochon weighs 19.9 carats and measures 2.75cm X 2cm X 3mmIt is priced at $150 a carat or $2,985. It is not treated and is backed. I have assigned a TG of 96 or GG. This is a very rare exceptional gem grade of the desired red web. It comes from the Wayne Nelson Collection. White spot is camera flash.
