Colorado has a long history of turquoise mining. The history is found in Turquoise in America Parts One and Two. While King Manassa and Villa Grove are the two best known mines Cripple Creek has played an important part in the history. In this video Mike discusses the history and we see some beautiful examples of Cripple Creek turquoise.
